LCSO offers several unique re-entry programs that provide vocational training in beekeeping, gardening, and fishbreeding. EARTH Haven offers certifications in pesticide application, aborticulture, landscaping and horticulture.

LCSCO parteners with the University of South Florida to hosts a certified bee management programthat incarcerated individuals can can earn vocational certification in beekeeping.
LCSO hosts a 64" x 64" beehive enclosure withh four active beehives, populated with 50,000 honey-prodcuing bees.
LCSO's E.A.R.T.H. Haven houses a small pond used to grow mosquito fish. The small fish eat moquito larve which helps reduce mosiquito population.
On July 20th, 2024 LCSO gave away mosquito fish to community members. LCSO plan to hold future giveaways to provide fish to county residents.
Mosquito Fish are NOT intended to be placed in natural bodies of water as they can disrupt the ecosystems.They can be placed in standing water such as backyard ponds, fountains, animal troughs, and unused swimming pools to effectively and naturally manage mosquito populations.
LCSO's E.A.R.T.H Haven property housese several citrus trees include Satsuma and Myers Lemon trees.
When fruit is ready for production LCSO will share our neighbors in the community, homeless shelters, transitional facilities and others.
